The high in Utah today is supposed to be in the 70's.

It is November 23 and there isn't any snow in Utah.
It is supposed to be in the 70's today.

The news forecasts have been that there will be no weather
delays for Thanksgiving travel this year.

Last Sunday the high was 49 and today this forecast is for 68
although some are higher in some places.

This rapid change in temperatures has greatly increased
health issues.  Strept, coughs, colds, and other flu like
symptoms are ALL OVER.

I just looked for ski resorts open in Utah and NONE of
them are open now.  Brian Head is scheduled to open on
Saturday November 25,  with Snow Basin,
Powder Mountain, and Alta following six days later on Dec. 1.

Deer Valley is not scheduled to open until Dec. 2.
These are projections.  I am guessing if the temperatures
stay warm, the dates could move later.

This will be a major loss of tourist revenue for Utah.  Some
years Thanksgiving Holiday is the biggest ski weekend in Utah
and NOTHING is even open this year.

An unusually warm holiday week continued Thursday as temperatures tied the heat record for Thanksgiving in Salt Lake City.

The high of 65 degrees matches the record set on Thanksgiving in 1910, according to data from the National Weather Service. That marks two consecutive record-setting days. On Wednesday, the high of 68 degrees broke a record for that date set in 1926.

Bryce Canyon also set a new record for high temperatures, reaching 67 degrees Thursday, compared with 64 degrees recorded in 1954.

Cedar City reached 71 degrees, blowing away the record of 64 degrees in 1995.

Kanab tied the 1950 record of 72 degrees, while Laketown set a new record of 63 degrees, compared with the 56 degree record in 1950.
