Here is the history of Hershey Pennsylvania in our family. When you were
in school you had to do a report on a state. I tried to get Washington state for
Susan and Nathan who were both BORN in Washington and NOT Utah.
Someone in Nathan's class had Washington and Nathan ended up with
Pennsylvania. Nathan discovered Hershey Pennsylvania and a major chunk of
his report was on the town and history of Hershey.
I think at the time Nathan did the report the Pennsylvania
Hershey plant was still making Hershey candy bars.
Hershey is in-between Pittsburgh where Craig lives and Philadelphia where Jacob
lives. Hershey has been a subject of a tourist attraction we could visit on all
my trips to PA. Sadly, the drive between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is enough
to discourage an extra stop to visit Hershey.
As you can see Jacob went alone. Craig, his family and I have still not seen
Hershey. Craig may have been to the town, but has not toured the facility.
They have turned it into a tourist attraction and it is quite expensive! Jacob says I
have to stay in Philly if I want to go to Hershey, so I am guessing it is close to
Jacob.
The bottom photo is Chase, the son of David Acheson, who was a bishop in the tree
streets at the same time Adam and Mary lived in the tree streets, they met
at the same church. This son pictured at the Hershey Factory went to Timpview
High. I wonder if they just took photos outside where they didn't have to
pay a fortune. Chase works somewhere back in the DC area. He worked on
Donald Trump's campaign in Michigan, the state The Republican President won
for the first time in years in 2016.
These photos are out of order. Chase is the one in the group photo where you don't
know anyone, but they are at Hershey and in front of something Jacob didn't send
me a photo of.
