Carly and Riley are my only Grandchildren that didn't wake up to snow on their grass Thursday!

Carly is the only one in her class that is missing three front teeth.  The girl in her
class that was missing two front teeth before school started is still missing both
teeth.  Carly lost all of her teeth since school started and none of them are growing
back yet.

Riley is getting A's on all of his work and his teacher says he is her favorite
student.

P S  It snowed in the mountains and enough to cover the grass.  The snow
on the grass melted, but the snow goes halfway down Timpanogos mountain.

Guess Who has an iPhone 5?

"It's way better than it's cracked up to be," according to the new owner.
Clue:  This is our family member who appears to be Apple's biggest fan.

The phone is lighter and the screen is bigger than my iPhone.  You can ask
it questions vocally and get an answer vocally.  I am wondering how it would
be for Adam's homework.
You can also send voice text messages, which would save me lots of correction
time.
In case you didn't know, it is extremely difficult to get one of these and you may
want to ask for tips if you know someone who wants to buy one now.  Apple
is having trouble meeting the consumer demand at present.

It's Nathan!

Ellie and I went to eat at Cracker Barrel Restaurant

Ellie noticed the things on the wall.  Ellie's favorite foods there were the hash brown
casserole, turkey sausage patties, and pumpkin custard.  Ellie doesn't like water without
ice.  (Jacob went with us and paid for the Breakfast)

Ellie is talking in sentences and says what you say, + she listens to your conversations.
Jacob said "Oh what a mess" and Ellie said it right after him.

Noah has 2 teeth

Noah has two teeth and crawls army style, pulling himself with his arms.
He is trying to pull himself up to everything and seems to always be hungry
or at least willing to eat.

Anthony is attracted to things with lights on, i.e. computers, mouse, electric blanket
control, alarm clock, house phone answering machine.  Somehow he goes from one
to another one faster than you can catch him.

Adam can't work on his programing for CSEN Computer Systems Engineering
because Anthony goes for the lights
on the board.

Jacob Interviewed at Midwestern University Medical School Glendale Arizona Campus

Monday October 15, Jacob interviewed at the DO school in Glendale Arizona.  The school is
15 minutes from downtown Phoenix.

He flew in on Saturday and stayed with Craig and Elaine.  He has paid a deposit to hold
his place in Bradenton Florida, and this is the last interview he plans to have.

Cedar City pushing to establish osteopathic medical school

The Cedar City Office of Economic Development wants to establish a school of osteopathic medicine in that community.
It says it is beginning the groundwork to open the school in what it describes as a joint effort of community leaders, business leaders, educators, health professionals and interested residents and students.
The economic development office says it is consulting with Colorado-based Rocky Vista University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine to help it establish a school. Rocky Vista’s first class of physicians graduated in May 2012.
In the United States, there are two types of licensed physicians that practice medicine. Most physicians hold the M.D. or Doctor of Medicine degree. Osteopathic physicians hold the D.O. or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. The medical training for an M.D. and D.O. is virtually indistinguishable. D.O. physicians are licensed to practice medicine in all 50 states, with a large percentage going into primary care.
