Paul Walstad Update

Stories surrounding Paul are almost as numerous as the number of his
children, (fourteen), but this is the latest- story, which may be factual
or non factual.

This morning seven of Paul's children will be on their way to Hawaii,
and Peter who paid for the cruise is back on the cruise, intending to finish
the 10 remaining days of the cruise.

Mark points out there are two paid remaining seats on the cruise,
Nancy and Paul's tickets, so if you want to cash in on those you should
hurry.

Yesterday, the cruise landed in Hilo and Paul was taken to a Hilo hospital
where the doctors did a CT scan and determined Paul was bleeding
in several different places in his brain.  They said there was nothing
that could be done + due to the length of time of the internal bleeding
(72 hours) at that time, there was no way to determine the
damage to the brain.

Somehow they found a doctor in Honolulu that was willing
to look at Paul and moved Paul to that hospital.  That
doctor thinks that he has bruising of the brain NOT
INTERNAL BLEEDING.  This doctor thinks he
needs time for his brain to heal, not surgery.

There has been discussion on the subject that
bruising and internal bleeding on the CT scan would
look the same.

Hopefully, today there will be more accurate news,
when over half of Paul's children get to the hospital
where he is.

I have spent quite a bit of time trying to find an
image of a hospital to put here.  I can find the medical
school, but NOT the hospital where the medical
students work.  There are several hospitals in Honolulu.
