Jeff and Jill got married in December. I was furious when the female minister announced that at the beginning of the service. Then after the Wedding when I asked Jeff, he explained they had to get married for legal and insurance reasons and then I wasn't so mad. Jill is a nurse at Primary Children's Hospital and I am sure the open enrollment period ended the end of
December and she couldn't add Jeff unless they were married. (Jeff is diabetic and they really can't afford to go a year without insurance), plus I am betting Noah's Place doesn't give a refund if you change your mind or your date.
The service was interesting as the minister was female, meaning it wasn't LDS. Janice doesn't think they attend church with this minister and didn't know where they got her, which leads me to believe she may be connected to either Primary Children's Hospital or the University of Utah hospital and Jill, the nurse found her.
