Follow-Up

I thought I would post a follow-up to the previous post of a waitress dumping drinks on me......

Cody - This guy:

He's the friend of the guy I work with... I met him in October, just before your last visit.

We are seriously dating - and talking of plans for a long term relationship.

We went out to dinner last Sat night so I could meet his best friends and their wifes.

At the beginning of our order the waitress came back with a huge tray full of drinks, stopped and kind of just dumped it all on me. HUGE WATERFALL.

Let me answer Nathan's questions - that should cover the rest.

1. exactly how many drinks were on this tray?

The tray held drinks for our table and a couple others. Our booth held 6 people... times that by 3....I'm guessing about 18 glasses.
2. were any of the drinks alcoholic?

Probably YES.
3. what restaurant were they eating at?

Lehi, Texas Roadhouse
4. why would said restaurant want to give someone a free shirt knowing that anyone who sees and asks about the shirt will no doubt hear this story?

Because on the back of this t-shirt in the largest print possible, it says... "I heart my job"

5. were any of the contents of the purse salvageable?

Most of my drugs made it.... but my official divorce papers, look like hell now. The purse also smells bad. I have it in a pile of stuff I'm giving to mommy. :)
6. what color was the purse?

The purse is Red, and a fake Jimmy Choo that a girl at work just brought back from China for me. I had just barely transfered all my stuff from the old purse.
7. what four people were susan and cody eating out with?

Cody's two best friends - and their wifes... (the wifes are also sisters.) There was also a baby... and then I sat there the whole night feeling like I was wearing a wet diaper... PERFECT.
8. were the other members of the party safe or did they experience any splashing as a consequence of the falling drinks?

One wife across from me experienced the wet shoes that I also had.

ALSO, I might mention - it was so much drinks that they couldn't get the floor dry... So they kept wiping and wiping... and then one of the other servers fell down and hit her head. Really hard. Talk about workman's comp. That floor must have a THICK layer of Slick Crap on it.
9. was the server hot?

She was So so.... We didn't really see her again, after the incident... So then our service also went downhill.

10. was the server single?

You should go find out. See if she spills drinks on you. Maybe don't order one, just to be safe.
11. is the shirt my size?

Medium, the manager wouldn't let me get it in a larger size, because Cody was the one insisting that I get it... So, when I finally said - would you like it in XL, the other guy caught on. Boo.
12. can i have the shirt?

All yours. I just have to wash it, because it went into the wet smelly purse - and got tainted.
