you attended Joaquin. He also was in the BYU Stake Presidency
with Mark for several years.
I didn't find he died until AFTER both the funeral and the viewing
were over.
The newspaper obituary doesn't give any information.

Mr. Dowdle died of a massive heart attack. He died while having a heart attack. He had never had heart problems in his life. He was 71 years old. He has a younger brother and older brother that have had major heart problems including open heart surgery. Both his brothers are still alive. Don's wife got up at 1:30 a.m. to find out why he had not come to bed and found him dead on the hall floor. He was cold and had been dead for a while.
ReplyDeleteDr. Kraig Jensen was best friends with Don Dowdle. They were mission companions. Dr. Jensen said he died two days before Christmas, but the newspaper obituary says Dec. 19. I guess it really doesn't make a difference for us. As his funeral was Dec. 22, he may have died before the funeral.
