Adam's Group's Poster

Adam had a group project in his Bioinformatics class.  For the final, they
had to make a poster and present it to a Bioinformatics Conference at BYU.
Adam Burdett, Zac Danielson, Heather McKibben and Steven Barnett
were in his Group.
The title of the project is  "Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder:
a Genome-wide Association Study"

Getting individual's DNA snps to analyze is difficult in this
world of private information.  At literally the LAST minute
Adam found Open snps.org to access Open source
individual DNA snps associated with phenotypes to conduct
 Genome Wide Association Study.  GWAS

The data is still being analyzed but has five possibly
significant associated snps with ADHD.  This has not
been seen in previous  studies, according to Adam's group
member's research.

Adam is going to meet with the Professor to ask questions
about the results.

Unfortunately, they didn't realize this at the
time of the presentation at the
Conference.
