Ears and antibiotics

I have my second fungus infection in my life, in both ears.

I have taken antibiotics for something else and
the fungus develops.  As a child, when I went to
the doctor sick, they frequently gave antibiotic shots
for everything.

Over 60 years ago I am not sure they could
diagnose the difference between viral and
bacterial and so to be safe they just gave
LOTS of antibiotic shots.

I worry for Anthony who has already had MORE
antibiotics in his life time that I have had in mine.

But I am posting this as a notice to consider carefully
taking lots of antibiotics, especially if you can determine
you have a virus not bacterial infection.

I don't know if this condition is hereditary.
