April 30, 2015 Anthony went into insulin shock at Primary Children's Hospital

Anthony's appointment at Primary Children's Hospital was at
9:30 a.m. at the Leukemia Clinic and then his scheduled
 surgery appointment for the spinal fluid chemo was at 11:00.

They put the chemo in the spinal fluid in the operating room,
so Anthony can't have food or drink prior to the procedure.

Anthony complained of a stomach ache the entire
way to Primary Children's Hospital and then he
wouldn't walk so Adam carried him, and by the time they
got up to the clinic Anthony went into insulin shock.

There was an oncologist doctor there who identified
Anthony looked dehydrated and needed sugar so
they immediately accessed his port and started
IV fluids, oxygen and called the Primary Children's
Rapid Response team.

Anthony's sugar levels dropped to 30, his oxygen
never went below 80 and he never stopped breathing.
They admitted Anthony into the Pediatric Intensive Care
Unit, where Anthony was given oxygen most of the day.
Anthony left the Intensive Care Unit walking out at 3:00 p.m.
and went back up to the clinic where they gave him
chemotheraphy.

They got home from the hospital about 6:30 p.m.
Anthony did not have the spinal
fluid chemo.  That is scheduled for May 28 now.

He is still taking daily chemo pills, + a steroid chemo twice
a day,  + 5 more pills once a week.
