Nathan took me to the BYU Farmer's Market on Friday August 12. It is in
the south corner of of the BYU football stadium on Thursdays from 2:00 to 8:00.
There were only around 20 vendors and Nathan and I were not impressed. The only
tomatoes you had to buy $7.00 worth and get $7.00 free. No watermelon. The corn
on the cob I bought from Spanish Fork was really good.
So then Daddy took me to the Riverwoods Farmer's Market on Saturday August 13.
It was worse. There were only about 6 booths and no customers. They did have a guy
playing a guitar on a stage they have in riverwoods. Again no watermelon.
One or two bread vendors, the Riverwoods Beach Resort had really good
cookies for $1.00 and a booth from Brigham City had cantaloupe and raspberries,
corn on the cob. There was a leather place and jewelry.
Riverwoods has mist coming out of something which is really nice when it sprays.
(Cost of booth $10.00)
Anyway, still looking for Farmers Market as big as the one RC Willey had last year.
