The Pittsburgh Burdetts in 2018

I asked Elaine for photos that were taken in 2018 and she sent me these.
If you go by the news, Pittsburgh has had more snow than we have
in Utah so far this winter.  We are supposed to get snow tonight so
stay tuned.

One day this winter Craig said the roads were icy when he went to work at 6:00 a.m.
Craig thought they should have been given a day for the roads.  People
who came to work AFTEr 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. said the roads were fine.

While Pittsburgh had snow, then it rained for two days and melted the snow.

Craig spent a week in Idaho

Craig was in Idaho from about Feb. 12 to 16, Monday through Friday.

I didn't find out until the weekend AFTER he got back to Pittsburgh.

Evidently there was a communication issue and they asked if Craig
would be available to go to Idaho and he said yes.  Craig didn't hear
any more until he got his plane tickets, motel reservations and other
things needed for the trip.

There are six locations that are connected to Bettis where Craig works
in Pittsburgh.  I guess they are all Naval Nuclear Laboratories.
Idaho is the Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls.

Despite the fact that Craig has been to Idaho numerous times
already, he learned a lot more about the Idaho National Laboratory
on this trip, and got to tour some of the buildings there, he hadn't
been in before.

Bettis has all the engineers that make plans and drawings for the
things they make in Idaho Falls.

These are Google Images for INL.  Dr. David Hill is the man listed
in the photo at the bottom.

Elsie may be allergic to dairy.

About three weeks ago Elsie had diarrhea along with almost everyone
else.  Mark went to the Dr. and found that he had stomach flu, which
is what we assumed the rest of us had as well.

 Elsie's has never gone away.

Elsie is the only one of Adam's kids that will drink milk.
We do mix it about half and half with liquid yogurt.

At any rate, after Elsie drinks milk, she has numerous diarrhea
episodes in the next hour or two.

The other night she had the same reaction after eating Dominos
Cheese Pizza.

Susan and Nathan were the only children I had with milk issues.
Susan out grew hers and Nathan is still experimenting with
Lactose Milk options.

Susan loves milk-any kind of milk, and drinks it still today.

When is 80% on a linear algebra test a bad score?

When the class average is 88%.

Adam got 80% on the first test.  At one time he feared
he got 30%.  80% has got to be better than that,
however I wonder how many scored lower than 88%.

This has got to be bad news for class average.

None of the students able 88% will drop the class
and the average may get higher.

YIKES!

Anthony only needs to go to Primary Children's Hospital every other month!

For the first time since March 2014, Anthony doesn't need to make
weekly and or monthly visits to Primary Children's Hospital.

Now he only has to go every other month.  I hope that is good news.

Whatever the reason, I am extremely excited and not only because
I won't have to babysit every month while he goes to the hospital.

I really hope this means Anthony's chances of recurrence have decreased.
