Jacob got called to Jury Duty and they picked him to be on the jury. He got called a few weeks ago, but that case didn't go to trial, so evidently they can call you again right away.
Today they picked the jury and started the trial and didn't finish. It lasted from 10:00 to 4:00. There are at least 6 witnesses and they only finished 2. So I wouldn't hold out hope for it to end tomorrow either. So now Jacob can't work tonight because he has Jury duty tomorrow before he would get off work. I am going to suggest he work tomorrow night even if it is not over and just leave work early in time to start the trial on Friday.
They asked his favorite movies and he picked zombie movies. I think he should survey the other jurors to see what kind of movies they picked. What are the chances the entire jury picked zombie movies for their favorite movie?
You don't get paid for jury duty ($10.00 a day) and since Novatek is cutting hours Christmas week, he needs this week's hours.
